Manicure of the Week!

I don't think my manicure of the week classifies as a weekly thing anymore since it's been months since I've posted one :P Regardless, I'll label any nail art / manicures I get done in the future the same just for the sake of consistency :)

I actually tried this out a while ago but didn't get a chance to post about it sooner, it's a part of the Salon Effects nail polish strips  by Sally Hansen.

This particular set is called 'Love Letter'

They are honestly great quality! I managed to keep mine on for two weeks and only removed them because my nails grew out too much, and they were simple to remove: just use regular nail polish remover! They didn't chip or peel off, and were beyond easy to apply. The beauty of them is that you don't have to be ambidextrous to get nice results on both hands XD

Here is how my finished product came out and I was obsessed:

I'm currently wearing another set of nail stickers now with a different pattern that I will write about next week ~ hopefully.

NOTE: this is not my first time trying them, I made another post about the first time I used them back in February~ http://alittlebitofeverything-alboe.blogspot.com/2014/02/manicure-of-week.html

If any of you try them out let me know what you think!

Manicure of the Week!

Hey everyone, this week I have a different kind of manicure to show you... it's adhesive! I was afraid to try it because I didn't know how it would look or feel, but I have to admit I really like it. It's simple to apply and even simpler to remove.

This week I'm wearing Sally Hansen Salon Effects in 'plum'

You just take out the right sized strip and file it to the size of your nail and leave it for a few seconds and it dries. It lasts for about 10 days, and the best part is it can't chip because it's not a liquid nail coat that had to harden. Then to remove it you just use nail polish remover. You can check out my finished product below!
p.s the filter makes the color look brighter, in reality it's pretty dark :)

Take care!
